How does HollywoodDraft.com work?
HollywoodDraft.com is an interactive website for those who love celebrity gossip! There are many games and ways to participate. We have Individual League play and Group Play. Private League, Community and other celebrity games are coming soon!
Hollywood Drafts's main game is modeled after “fantasy” sport leagues and is similar in many ways. We offer Individual League Play and for FREE! You draft a team of “celebrities” like you would draft a team of “sports players” but instead of Tom Brady or Kobe Bryant playing on your team; Britney Spears and Brad Pitt are your players! You earn points when your celebrity is in featured sections of US Weekly, People and InTouch Magazines. Also earn points on the following blog posts: Popsugar.com, Perezhilton.com, Dlisted and TMZ.com. If your celebrity is in the news you earn points. Beware your celebrity will lose points for fashion mishaps, divorce, rehab, jail or getting arrested.

Which celebrities can earn points?
Any celebrity who is news worthy will earn you points. Click for a complete list of what celebrities you can play with.
Can I add a celebrity to the list that I really like?
HollywoodDraft adds celebrities as they become news worthy. If a new celebrity is added during a season, it will be posted on the home page and an e-mail will be sent out the day the celebrity is added. If you have a suggestion for a celebrity that you would like to see added to the list, please let us know!
How do celebrities earn points?
There is a set list of celebrities and a set list of point-earning opportunities. To see how celebrities earn points, click on Points. Points are earned daily through the following media outlets; InTouch Magazine, UsWeekly Magazine, People Magazine, Popsugar.com, Dlisted.com, Perezhilton.com and TMZ.com. Beware your celebrity will lose points for fashion mishaps, divorce, rehab, jail or getting arrested.

Who tracks all the points? Do I need to?
Hollywooddraft.com will track all the points for you! Points are posted daily, Monday-Sunday, by 11:59 PM CST. All points that are earned on any given day will be entered that day. For late night post on blogs or breaking news that happens at night will be entered the following morning. All points earned for each day will be credited on that day. You can check your points by logging on to HollywoodDraft.com and going to your profile page. No points will be posted on national holidays.
When are points final?
Points are final for each season and playoff 1 day (24 hours) after the season and playoff is over. If during the season and/or playoffs points are entered that are incorrect, we will review the points and correct if needed.
I have a scoring correction, how do I communicate this to you? How late can corrections be made?
If you have a scoring correction, please send an e-mail to info@hollywooddraft.com. Corrections can be made anytime through out the season and/or playoffs. Points are final 24 hours after season and/or playoffs are over. TMZ sometimes post and takes post off or post a story and change pictures, the pictures will be given points for the time the points were entered for that story.
When are magazine points assigned?
Magazine points are assigned the day the magazine cover is released to the public. For the magazines we use for scoring, this is usually on Wednesday. Sometimes, covers are leaked earlier via broadcast outlets or online. If you can prove the cover was released publically on a certain date, we will change the magazine points to that day. Proof needs to be verifiable by Hollywood Draft and it is at our sole discretion as to what is verifiable.
How long is the season?
HollywoodDraft season's start every month on the 1st and end on the last day of the month. The first two weeks of every month will be the last months playoffs. HollywoodDraft will notify you if your score qualifies you for the playoffs.
Can I sign up after the season starts?
The great thing about HollywoodDraft.com is you can join at any time during the season. Your points will start when you sign up and pick your celebrities. **Your points will start at 0 and will not be back logged to the beginning of the season. If you join a season after it starts, you are not eligible for the playoffs, however you will be eligible our monthly drawing. You can also start a Group Team and test you celebrities skills against your friends, co-workers or enemies.
What are Groups?
Groups were developed by HollywoodDraft to let you to compete with your friends while being able to have the same celebrities. Groups allow you to track your Individual League against your friends Individual League. You can participate in as many Groups as you want. Groups are the ultimate test of your celebrity knowledge. If all your competitors can have the same players the margin of error becomes very slim. Be sure to check out HollywoodDraft's 101 to get all the tips on how to beat your friends!

I want to join with my friends. Can we play against each other?
Absolutely! Make sure you and all your friends are signed up and have your most responsible friend start a group.
The Season already started and we want to start a Group! Do we have to wait till the next season?
NO! You can always start a group. It is a good way for all of you fashionable late people to play.
How do I pick celebrities for my Individual League and can I change them daily?
If you are playing in an Individual League on HollywoodDraft.com you may pick your celebrities as soon as you have completed registion. You can change you line up everyday. The celebrities you pick today will go into affect and start earning you points the following day. Updates will take place every night by 11:59 PM CST. Once you pick your Break Out Star you will not be able to change it for the season.
What is a Break Out Star? AND when can I change it?
A Break Out Star is an up and coming celebrity (chosen by HollywoodDraft) that has a chance of becoming a big point earner for the season. This may be a new singer, actor or train wreck who has come onto the scene recently. The Break Out Star you pick at the beginning of the season is locked in and you are not allowed to change it. However, this Break Out Star will earn you DOUBLE the points on each point they earn. Yes, it's a gamble but a big pay off is just a few paparazzi photos away!

How can I check other people's profiles? How can I see where I sit among other individual players?
To view other people's teams you will have to be in a group those people. However you will not be able to view other people's current roster only their past rosters. Why you may ask? To keep it competitive, otherwise you would cheat!
I used to have an account but my login doesn't work anymore, what happened?
Because we've changed the rules and terms in addition to adding many new site features, we're asking all users to register again.
